Our consultation is a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about your birth plans and expectations, and make sure we’re a good fit. You are welcome to bring questions about my services, your birth preferences, or anything you’re looking for in a doula. There is no pressure to book.

Your prenatal sessions are private, personalized time to prepare for your birth. We’ll discuss your preferences, explore your options, practice comfort measures and positioning, review relevant evidence, and talk through anything you’re feeling uncertain about. These sessions are designed around you rather than following a one-size-fits-all curriculum.

I offer a 15% discount to homebirth clients because I am intentionally growing my homebirth practice. I love supporting clients in the homebirth setting, and want to make that option more accessible to the families I serve.

I consider myself a “read the room” doula. Rather than following a specific birth philosophy, I adapt my support to the person in front of me. Some clients need hands-on physical support, some need encouragement and reassurance, some want information and advocacy, and sometimes what you need most is for someone to quietly step back.

I also bring four years of professional experience, specialized training in supporting survivors of sexual trauma, experience with high-risk pregnancies, VBAC/TOLAC, planned cesareans, hospital births, and home births.

Absolutely not! I am happy to support whatever pain control method you choose. This can include hydrotherapy, use of a TENS unit, an epidural, nitrous, massage, and so much more!

If you get an epidural, positioning and education are the main focus. I want your birth to go as smoothly as possible!

Absolutely! Home birth is one of the settings I particularly enjoy supporting. I bring the same continuous, individualized support to home births that I provide for hospital births. I also offer a 15% discount for homebirth clients.

While I completely support your right to birth however is best for you, I do not attend free births. I am happy to refer you to doulas in the area that do attend free births!

At this time, I provide support at all local hospitals with the exception of Fort Sanders except for repeat clients and very specific circumstances. Please inquire if you are a patient at Fort Sanders and I will make a decision on a case by case basis.

That’s okay! Birth rarely follows a perfectly predictable script. My role isn’t to make you stick to a plan—it’s to help you understand your options and support you as your needs and preferences change. Whether your birth unfolds exactly as expected or takes an unexpected turn, I will meet you where you are.
