Kait Lesher

I have been a professional birth doula for four years, serving families of East Tennessee. I am certified through DONA International and have received specialized training to support survivors of sexual assault. In addition, I have experience supporting high-risk clients, TOLAC/VBAC clients, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, military families, hospital births, and homebirths.

My approach to birth is spiritual and practical. Combining the wisdom of our ancestors with modern medicinal practices is something I truly value. Birth is not a “one size fits all” scenario. I am here to provide evidence-based information and support whatever you feel is best for you and your family.

I am a Knoxville native - Go Vols! My wife and I have been married for five years and we have two daughters; one is in high school and one is an infant. I am also the director of a local nonprofit cat rescue. I specialize in bottle-feeding neonates and caring for cats with special needs. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, gardening, and reading.
